Ansei Takushi, 80, of Kahului, Maui; passed away on December 5, 2014 under the care of Island Hospice at his residence. He was born on August 12, 1934 in Wailuku, Maui. He worked as a salesman for Maui Soda and Ice Work.
Visitations will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Kahului Union Church from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., with service over urn to begin at 10:00 a.m.
Ansei is predeceased by his sons, Ryan Y. Takushi, Randal Y. Takushi; survived by wife, Toshiko Y. Takushi; daughter in-laws, Thelma Takushi, Fay Takushi; brothers, Yasuyoshi “Joe” (Molly) Takushi, Yasusaburo “Sub” (Patsy) Takushi; sisters, Sumiko Nishino, Otoyo “Shirley” Matsui; 3 grandchildren, Keri, Ken, Jessica; 2 great grandchildren, Kimi and Christopher.
