Arlen Lester Cabrinha I, 76, of Kula, Maui; passed away on February 6, 2015. He was born on November 3, 1938 in Paia, Maui. He worked at Hawaiian Dredging and Construction as a heavy equipment mechanic for 39 years where he retired in 1998. His past time pleasure was fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine Annette (Pestana) Cabrinha and son Arlen Lester Cabrinha II; grandchildren, Justine (Dean) Hashimoto-Rabanes, Arlenette, Joanne (Alvin) Kaleo, Gena-Mariah, and Arlen III; great grandchildren, Hayley, Landen, Dysen, Zayden, Angeline, Jasiel, River and Zackary-Prime; sisters, Patricia Sniffen, Hazel (William) Fernandez and Aunt Evangeline Higginbotham; predeceased by parents, Joseph and Margaret (Pires) Cabrinha and sister, Barbara Santos.
Service will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, visitation will commence from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The family will follow with a private burial.
