Boyd Jackson Coffman Jr., 90, of Kihei, Maui, formerly of Kona, Hawaii, passed away on June 19, 2014. He was born on August 20, 1923, in Effingham, Illinois.
Private ceremonies will be held on Maui and at the Veterans Cemetery in Kona.
Boyd was a 43 year Kona resident and the owner of World Rent A Car. He is survived by his son, Boyd (Cathy) Coffman III of La Habra Heights, California; daughters, Susan (Mark) Thompson of Cumming, Georgia, Kelly (Matthew) Thayer of Maui, Hawaii; half-brother, Paul Coffman; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
