Caleb Tillman Thuro

Caleb is survived by his parents Cheryl Fernandez and Jon Thuro, brother Emery Fernandez, uncles, Michael Fernandez, Jr., Leslie (Linda) Fernandez, auntie Crystal (Kevin) Souza, His cousins Michael Fernandez III, Danielle (Cameron) Frampton, Nichol (Dana) Veincent, Chelsea (Mark) Johnson, Harley Souza, Ryder Souza, Troy Fernandez, Katrina Fernandez, Hayley Fernandez and godson Swayde Allen Fernandez.

Caleb attended Haleakala Waldorf School and then King Kekaulike High School.

Caleb then went to the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Arizona. Dirt bike riding was one of his greatest passions. One of Caleb’s favorite times in his life was canoe paddling. He started at the age of 12 with Na Kai Ewalu and became a great steersman. His crew made it to the state races three years in a row.

He enjoyed anything that he got into. He flew RC airplanes then got a 68 Ford Fastback Mustang that was faster than his dads 96 Porsche Carrera.Caleb worked with TJ Gomes and Discovery Builders. He was also a big part of our family business, Maui Mountain Cruisers. Caleb’s best friend was his dog, Moose.Everyone that got to know Caleb loved him. He was so kind.

We will miss his big smile and warm hugs.

Caleb’s Celebration of Life will be held on November 30, 2024 at the Laeula O Kai Canoe Hale at Kanaha State Park from 9am-12 along with aluncheon.
