Carol Jean DeCosta, 69 of Honokaa passed away on March 27, 2010 at the North Hawaii Community Hospital, born in Honokaa she retired and also volunteered at the Hale Ho'ola hospital in Honokaa.She is survived by sons; Dale (Maylene) DeCosta of Kawaihae, Herbert DeCosta jr of Ahualoa, and Donald Gonsalves of Hilo, daughters; Darlene Mattos of Ahualoa, Sheri DeCosta of Kamuela, Kimberly (Brian) Agbayani of Kamuela, and hanai daughter, Olinda (Jefferey) DeRego of Honokaa, sister; Betty Vicente of Honokaa, 15 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and relatives.
Visitation: Friends may call 05:00 PM on Friday April 9, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa.
Services: Mass service at 7:00 PM
Interment: Friends may also call Saturday April 10, 2010, 9:00 AM at the Catholic Church, with a prayer service at 11:00 AM, burial to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
