Charles Ontiveros, 76, of Pahoa, HI, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017. Charles was born in Kukaiau, HI. Service to be held at Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo (570 Kinoole St. Hilo, HI 96720) on Sunday February 26, 2017 Visitation 5:00pm Service 6:00pm. Burial will be on Monday February 27, 2017 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery II (110 Laimana St. Hilo, HI 96720) at 9:00am. He is survived by his son John (Shonnalee) Ontiveros of Kealakekua, HI; daughter Ursula (Sheye) Nihau of Kailua-Kona; Charles is also survived by 8 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
