Clarence "Junior" Alexander Kaopuuokalanikuuleialoha Mortensen, 48 of Wailuku passed away at home on June 29th after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Honolulu and raised in Kailua, Oahu, before moving to Kailua Kona on the island of Hawaii where he lived and raised his family for many years. He moved to Wailuku, Maui shortly after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was told he had 6 months to live, but by God's grace and blessing, he was given the chance to live another 3 years with us, not before losing his youngest brother Clay Mortensen just a month prior to his death. The family would like to acknowledge Hospice Maui for their compassionate care of Clarence "Junior" Mortensen.
Please come and join us in celebrating his life at the Ohana Ranch in Kula at 2055 Naalae Road on Sunday July 31st @ 5:30pm, graciously hosted by good friend Toni Martin. For directions you may call Toni Martin at (298-5864) or his sisters, Connie (280-9313) or Carla (457-5968).
