April 5, 1948 – July 25, 2015
Clayton Bruce Punihaole, 67, of Kalaoa-Kona, was born at Kona Hospital and went home to his Lord on July 25, 2015. He retired as a Cryptographic Electronic Technician with the United States Dept. of Defense and as a Pond Restoration Foreman at Kukio. He served his Country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a proud member of the Disabled American Veterans Kona Chapter Seven.
He is survived by spouse Pamela P. Punihaole of Kalaoa-Kona; sons Ikaika (Nui) Giddens of Waianae-Oahu, Destine L.M. (Jacque) Punihaole of Kaoaoa-Kona; Destry K.S. (Carriel) Punihaole of Kalaoa Kona; daughters Kanani C. (Kimo) Hulama of Nanakuli, Oahu; Puanani P. (Franklin) Giddens-Cortez of Kalaoa-Kona; 13 grandchildren, 2 dogs, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Kaulupulehu Beach Club (Hualalai Historic Kaulupulehu) on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 10:30 – 2:00 with full Military Honors. Mortuary services provided by Ballard Family Mortuary-Kona.
