Daniel Fernandez Basque, 71, of Pukalani, passed away on August 25, 2010 in Kahului. He was born on March 29, 1939 in Okala, Hawaii. He retired as a Truck Driver for Lucky Stores in San Leandro, California. Daniel was married to his wife Lourdes for 50 years. He was an avid motorcycle rider on Maui who made friends wherever he went. He loved living and loving the Aloha way. Daniel is survived by his wife, Lourdes, son, Daniel, daughter, Darnell (Mark) Arniola; brothers, Anthony (Diane) Basque, and Joseph Basque; and 2 grandchildren.
Visitation: Visitation 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Ballard Family Mortuary.
Services: Services at 11 a.m.
Interment: Inurnment 12 noon at Valley Isle Memorial Park.
