David Charles Hauser, 67, of Waikoloa, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. David Charles Hauser was born on June 22, 1949. David was a retired Police SGT. for the Honoka’a Police Department. Celebration of Life to be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honoka’a (45-5028 Plumeria Road Honoka’a, HI 96727) on Saturday, October 1, 2016. Visitation at 9:30am, Mass at 11:30am. He is survived by his wife Libby Kaopuiki of Waikoloa; sons Donovan (Keri) Hauser of O’ahu and Kukapu’o’uha’a “Boog” (Makaleka Barros) Gunderson of Waikoloa; daughter Davelyn (Carlos) Lopez of Honoka’a; sisters Patricia Hauser of Washington and Francis (William) Andrade of Honoka’a; 2 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
