David Moses Kamau Jr., 38, of Pahoa, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016. David was born on November 21, 1977 in Hilo. He worked as a Care Coordinator for Mango Medical. Celebration of life will be held at Maku’u Community Center a.k.a Maku’u Longhouse (15-1570 Maku’u Drive Kea’au, HI 96749- between 16th Ave. and 17th Ave) on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Service starts at 11:30am with lunch to follow. He is survived by his husband Manoa Kamau of Pahoa; mother Patty Lynne Kamau (Leandro) of Hilo; father David Moses Kamau Sr. (Beryl) of Hilo; grandmother Priscilla Perry (Burnette) of Kea’au; sons Toby Kamau of Pahoa, Spot Kamau of Pahoa and Moimoi Kamau of Pahoa; daughter Sophia Kamau of Pahoa; brothers Brandon (Mahinalei) Kamau of Washington and Donovan (Alexandria) Kamau of Kea’au; sisters Ashlyn Paranada-Kamau of Hilo, Chanelle Bergren of Arizona and Jalin Luis-Victorino of Hilo; Aunty Sweetheart Akiona of Arizona; hanai parents Lionel (Mona) Victorino of Kea’au; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
