Longtime Maui resident "Captain" Joe passed away peacefully at home last Thursday. Owner/operator of A1 Appliance Service, and former member of Maui Trailer Boat Club. A lifelong lover of laughter, ladies, and libation! Joe was preceded in death by wife Linda Carr. Survived by son David Carr, daughter Wendy Cope, Step-son Greg McClancy, daughter in-law Bianca Sieun Carr, son in-law John Cope, and daughter in-law Atu McClancy. A casual, non-religious, cocktail gathering will be held Sunday May 24th on the seaside lawn of Maalaea Kai. 70 Hauoli st. Maalaea. Come celebrate Joe's unique life and one of a kind character. Let's wish him bon voyage with a sunset toast as he sets sail for eternity. Please arrive at 4:00pm, with a story to share about "Da Captain".
