Gene was a retired produce manager from A & P Tea Company in Toledo, Ohio.
No services are planned at this time, a memorial will be announced at a later date.
He is survived by his son, Charles (Terry) of Whitehouse, Ohio; daughter, Tracey (Richard) of Keaau, Hawaii; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ruth and eldest son, William.
In lieu of flowers the family requests for friends and family to register to be an organ/tissue donor.
