Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Ballard Family Mortuary. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with an urn burial to follow at 2 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park, Garden of Meditation.
Edward was a retired school teacher and farmer. He taught 7th grade Social Studies at Makawao Elementary and Kalama Intermediate Schools.
He is survived by his wife, Helaine Sato; children, Brandon (Dena) Sato, Susan (David) Clements, Marci Sato; siblings, Lillian Yamaguchi, Richard Sato, Jane Onishi; 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
