Edwin Carlos Valenzuela, 61, of Kapaau, Hawaii, was born in Kapaau on July 3, 1955, and passed away at home on January 16, 2017 in Kapaau, Hawaii. Edwin worked as a groundskeeper. Former member of Kohala's own I'land Boiz.
He is survived by wife Blace; sons Jentzen Valenzuela of Waikoloa; Edwin K. (Kanoe Conte) Valenzuela of Hawi; daughters Kimi (Sione) Vakauta of Kohala; Mei Ling (Paulo Sauta) Valenzuela of Waikoloa; brothers Ernest (Marsha) Valenzuela of Waimea; Lawrence (Fraline) Valenzuela of Hilo; Fredrick (Darnell) Valenzuela of Keaau; Raymond (Dawn) Valenzuela of Kapaau; sister Florence (Camillo) Carlos of Kohala; nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing visitation will be held on Friday Feb. 3 2017 at Hilo Ballard Mortuary from 10am-12pm. Lite refreshments will be served. Celebration of Life will be held on Feb. 25 2017 at Kalahikiola Congregation Church in Kohala at 9am-12pm.
