
She retired from the Royal Lahaina Hotel as a Housekeeper.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with mass to begin at 10:30 a.m.; burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku at 12:30 p.m.
Emma is predeceased by her son, Lenny Vierra and grandson, Calvin Hill; survived by sons, Mike (Leola) Vierra, and Akoni (Pearl) Vierra; daughters, Julie Hill, and Sandra Vierra; hanai daughters, Katie Nishihira and Hami Bullion; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; her beloved little dogs Tita and Scooter, who were her comfort at the end of her life; numerous nieces and nephews.
Emma loved cooking and baking mango bread for the Sacred Hearts Society. She loved her church and gave her baking talents to fun-raising for Maria Lanakila Catholic Church. She also loved to hula and danced with the MEO Lahaina Honolua Senior Club. She was the oldest and would lead the dances to Puamana and Lahainaluna at all functions.
God Blessed us when he choose her to be our mother and best friend. Her 95years of wonderful, happy memories will help us at this time of grief. Emma is now happy with her entire family in Heaven. “Mama keep your kitchen warm with simmering pots of our favorites and greet all of us at our passing.” “Aloha, Mama.”
