Fernando worked in Security and owned Fernando’s Strength & Health Studio. He assisted K9 for MPD. Fernando’s passion was Body Building and he was Mr. Hawai`i in 1976 & 1977. He lived to weight lift and helped countless people train to compete and achieve their goals. He is predeceased by parents Celestine and Mary Benitez; survived by his companion, Luana Ferguson; children, Brenda-Lee Benitez, Fernando Benitez Jr.
(Rhodeline), Anna Figaroa (Bryan), Eduardo Benitez (Leticia), Marissa Benitez (Keoki); 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
