Florence Kahele, 90, of Pahoa passed away on July 24, 2017 at her home in Pahoa. Florence was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 25, 1927 to Robert and Elizabeth Kekauoha. She is survived by her son; Paul “Black” (Arnolette) Kahele, daughters; Elaine Kealoha, Grace "Anela" Kahele, and Paulette (Pedro) Velasco, and sister; May (Puni) Kamai. Florence was also blessed with 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren. A service will be held At Ballard Family Moanalua Mortuary on Thursday August 3, 2017 with visitation opening to the public at 9am, services beginning at 10am, and burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 2pm.
