George retired as an Electrician for HC&S.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Norman’s Mortuary; followed by a graveside service at 11:00 am at Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao; burial to follow.
He is predeceased by his parents, George and Daisy Uwekoolani, Sr.
He is survived by his daughter, MonaLisa Gary; son, Rodney (Susie) K. Uwekoolani; 2 grandsons, Kawika Gary, Billy Gary; 2 granddaughters, Rachel DeCoite, Kalei Uwekoolani; several great grandchildren; a favorite niece, Valerie Leilani Mixon of Florida; 3 sisters, Leona “Lani” Guillermo of Honolulu, Jeannette P. Steelman of Maui and Geraldine Uwekoolani of Texas.
The family would like to thank all those involved with Mr. Uwekoolani’s health care, especially Hale Makua Wailuku Drs, Nurses, and Staff.
