Gunter Heitmann, 77, of Kihei, passed away on February 4, 2011, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born March 20, 1933 in Hamburg, Germany. Mr. Heitmann was a Sous Chef with United Airlines. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey. He is survived by his sons, Jurgen (Debbie) Heitmann; and Peter (Andrea) Heitmann; grandchildren, Jens, Soren, Matthew, Brennan and Sara; and cousin, Vera Fromel. Private services were held by the family. Ballard Family Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
