Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Iao Congregational Church, 2371 W Vineyard St., Wailuku; service will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Helen was a retired Elementary School Teacher. Throughout her career, she taught at Puunene Elementary School, Waihee School, Wailuku Elementary School, and Lihikai School. She is survived by her sons, Wayne (Yoko) Hamamura, Dennis (Marilyn) Hamamura, Dwight (Gwen) Hamamura; grandchildren, Dana (Steve Barfknecht) Hamamura, Dale (Jihye) Hamamura; and great grandchildren, Lia Hamamura, and Cody Hamamura.
