I think of you everyday Isaiah. You were a respectable kid growing up. We had long talks after your dad passed away on how you would have to be the po’o of your ohana. I miss you so much. All I can say is I love you and until we meet again.

The night after not seeing him for almost 10 yrs possibly even longer. He had to come giv he’s opinion on the squid luau how ono it was an wanted a bag. Then the night was over he came to me if it was okay to bring a cake for he’s daughter to sing happy birthday to her which was such a time to do so cause he had he’s aunties an unkos all there from oahu. An we were heating up all the leftovers from the night before so it was like it woulda been a birthday party for he’s Shaelani. Uggghhh Isaiah U remind so much of ur dad! U will be missed . The man, the myth, the legend! 
Man growing up with you was dope! We only lived two houses apart! Lido Lane boys! I remember playing ball on my hoop every morning till the bus came to pick us up; after school we’d ride our bikes around the block with some of the other kids in the neighborhood; we’d go to the pool or random cliff jumping spots to buss gainers; and let’s not forget those LEGENDARY nights raging at your house. We did a lot of dumb shit and got into some trouble over the years but I wouldn’t change a thing.

Senior year you were the one to get me to play volleyball. You told me to tryout so all the boys could hangout and do something together. I rode the bench the whole season but I had front row seats to the greatest player the state had ever seen… Isaiah Ekau! A true beast on and off the court. 

After moving to Oahu, your moms house was always the first place I’d visit to see if you were around when I would fly back home. I’ll never forget when you pulled through and you and I drank the night away. It was a blur but the memory of kicking it with the homie will forever be embedded. You were always one of the realest and downest guys I knew. Thank you for one hell of a ride! Love you brother, till we meet again

We had a great night at Kawai’s graduation party. Upon your arrival you were greeted with so much Aloha. Watching you walk into the party and seeing you reconnect with Ohana that haven’t seen you in years made my heart warm. Made me feel so good that you guys came. We gathered and talked story. We was pounding our drinks of course. I kept telling you to go eat. You said bumbai. Then you saw on somebody’s plate the squid luau and that was it. You went and made yourself a plate. You sat down and started to grind that plate all while saying, ho dis squid luau is Ono! The night went on and we continued to drink and then Ho’aikane came on the stage and started playing. We all got up and started dancing. After the party you called me and said you was gonna party and rager all night, I wish I went go with you to party and rager all night. You are so loved!!!! You and your Dad stay throwing ragers up there together! Da son is jus like da faddah

I remember the last night I seen you, you asked for me and Makakoa to be in your family pic and I respectfully declined because looking from the outside in - I loved how your family dynamics are and how Kiersten and your babies were always so infatuated with you and I didn’t want to interrupt that ❤️
I am at peace with that extra long hug and kiss and saying our goodbyes one last time before we parted!!  I will hold that memory in my heart always ❤️

One of a kind. You were always authentic. Mahalo for being there when Joey decided to shoot one pua’a late. No hesitation from you to kokua. You were there to help with some heavy lifting too. Who knew that one guy could carry so many cement boards at one time.  Beast, Hammah, definitely accurate descriptions. You were so strict with your diet and gym routine too. Always on it. Jonah is gonna miss seeing Hammahdolos on XBox. 
Wish you could be here to see Shaelani go to Prom and to watch Daniel spike his first volleyball or dunk his first basketball, and to finally get married to Kierston just as you both talked about doing most recently. I was really looking forward to that day. We will love you and will miss you always. God Bless you and keep you in Peace. Until we meet again my Bradda.

As long as i can remember u was always there. From elementary days all the way till we graduated high school c/o 2010 and even as adults. Then we became family the day our behbeh siblings tied the knot. But the funny thing is that it was like we were family before that. We basically grew up together in school. We would have our moments when we would become close friends only cuz we were in the same class lol. U was the class clown for sure n made everyone laugh. U touched so many hearts. I’m honored to have gotten that opportunity to be able to grow up with u. We may not have always been close but we were always friends. I’m gonna miss u coming over to our family parties and watching u n Isaac challenge each other. U will forever be missed and never forgotten. Love u always Isaiah Ekau.

So many years memories I don't even know where to begin!! Isaiah was always at my house before Cotty and I moved to Las Vegas 6 years ago. I would look out my window in the morning and he already be outside ready for that morning sesh. He spent everyday all day with us till we left. And still after we moved he was always on FaceTime and playing video games with Cotty. So many times I would ask "who you talking to?" "It's just zay" Man, I am going to miss hearing that. I loved watching him talk shit to Cotty 😂 anytime Cotty and I were bickering at each other Isaiah would always take my side and start talking his shit! Also one of the last conversations we had the two of them were playing video games and Isaiah was throwing objects at Cotty in the game 😂 Isaiah, you definitely will be missed! You were a beast at everything you did. I loved watching you play volleyball from way back when!! You are a hammah big dog! 🔨  Sending all the love to Kierston, the kids, and the rest of the family ❤️❤️ LOVE AND MISS YOU FOREVER BRADDAH! 💙💙  YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN I PROMISE! 🤞🏻

I will appreciate the memories that we’ve had together on and off of the court. You were my best man at my wedding and I could never thank you enough for that. You had the mind of a warrior and I looked up to you for that. You were a happy and amazing soul to be around and I will keep that with me forever. Thank you, you will be missed.

There are so many wonderful memories of Isaiah since birth till I last saw him in May. Always smiling! Always respectful and loving to papa and I. I enjoyed going to the Fourth of July parade in Kailua with Isaiah  and all the grandkids. There are so many memories! I cannot write them all. At such a young age he not only excelled in sports and a magnetic personality but also a great love and respect for God. That, tutu and papa made sure of!  I hold tightly in my heart my love for Isaiah. I love you Isaiah. I love you Kierston and the two babies. Remain strong in Christ Jesus. He alone will bring you so much peace, comfort and strength🩷🙏🏼

You will always be remembered as Mr. Aloha. It’s a big loss for all of us to live a life without you. Sending aloha to you and all of our other ʻohana from the other side of the veil. Moe me ka maluhia.

Isaiah my heart aches that your gone. But you are with Our Heavenly Father and your best friend....your Dad. I have great memories with you.  When you guys came down one summer and you worked so hard to help us with Kalei's baby luau. And going to Windward mall eating Teri burgers and going Fun Factory. You guys just cracked me up the whole time. Laughing and laughing. I especially enjoyed watching you in action as a Volleyball player. Yes....you was a beast!!! But you became a father! Such a great beautiful gift. And a cowboy! Man that is amazing! You've gone home too soon. But I hope Mom and your brothers, Keiki and Kierston find comfort that you truly are in the greatest place ever! I love you so much! You lived life how you wanted. Just like your Daddy.  Happy and full of laughter. I crack up at our Live IG convos watching you Rip one for me🤣 Say Aloha for me to Dad, Maka and if you see Papa Lum .. hug him tight and hard for me.
