Born November 13, 1956 in Honolulu, HI. He was the son of Nicanor and Madeline. Graduated from Baldwin High School in 1974, then joined the US Army.
Ivan was preceded in death by his father Nicanor and mother Madeline; brothers Hennessey, James and David Sr. He is survived by his sister Velma Nakamoto as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ivan requested to be cremated and buried near his brother at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery with a private service.
