James “Jimi” Contreras Gonzales, 65, of Ocean View, died March 28, 2015. He was born November 1, 1949 in Los Angeles, California. Jimi was a metal fabricator, he loved playing the guitar, and listening to music. Music was his passion. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Gonzales of Ocean View; son, James Mora of Honolulu; brother, Marco Guzman of Los Angeles, CA; sisters, Irene (Raymond) Rodrigues of Moreno Valley, CA, Lydia Gonzales of Los Angeles, CA, Blanche Guzman of Los Angeles, CA, and Jackie Guzman of Los Angeles, CA; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family has planned private services. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary-Kona.
