James Lewis Miller, 82 of Hilo, passed away peacefully at Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home in Hilo on July 27, 2020. Born June 22, 1938 in Greenville, South Carolina, he served in the US Air force, as a Supervisor in Avionics Electronics. He continued serving after retirement as a Community Leader representing Veteran Affairs. He was a member of the VFW and Vietnam Veterans of America
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June 22, 2021 at The Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, N.Y. at 12:00 noon. The service will be immediately followed by burial service with military honors at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery,220 Duell Road, Schuylerville, N.Y. at 1:30 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend.
James is survived by his son, Craig Miller of Murfreesboro, TN; 3 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
