“Jack” was born on August 27, 1930 in Chicago to a hard-working family, he was the middle of 12 children. Jim married his love, Verna and together they raised an extended family.
Friends of Lahaina Para-Sail, Arabesque, Boonstra Concrete, Old Lahaina House all companies of which Jim was an integral part are invited to a celebration of his life at 1423 Front Street, Lahaina on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 5:30pm (sunset) for pupu’s and talk story.
Jim is survived by wife, Verna; Daughter Sherry-Ann Barbier; Son, James Kenneth Boonstra; grandchildren, John-James, Tiana, Bryce Barbier & Jayme Boonstra. He is preceded in death by his son in law, James Barbier.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jack’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
