James is survived by his best friend, Carmelita Cravalho; son, Richard (Helene) Cravalho; daughters, Denise (Preston) Conner, Jaimie (Keoni) Dukelow, grandchildren, Allen Prest Jr. (Kyla), Logan Prest, Ikaika Prest, Kapualoke Dukelow, Manny Dukelow; nephew, Wyatt Freitas; brother in law, Philibert Freitas along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, James and Audrey Yip Chow Sr.; sister, Ferrene Yip Chow; great grand-daughter, Briana Prest.
A memorial service will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019 Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului. Service will begin at 7 p.m.
