Mrs. Janet Stewart Simons Gerritsen, 92, was born on July 16, 1917 in Bizmark, North Dakota. She lived in Oregon in 1922 until moving to Maui in 1966. She was a retired self employed professional paint artist. She entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center, Wailuku, Maui. She is survived by her husband, George Gerritsen; one son, Steve (Vivian) Stewart; one daughter, Nikki Carpenter; two grandchildren; and one great grandson
Services: Celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Maui Kaanapali Villas, Lahaina, Maui; private scattering of ashes to follow.
