Jason H. Medeiros

Jason H. Medeiros, age 66, of Kihei Maui, passed away on July 22, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on September 25, 1949 in Pu’unene, Maui and was raised in Lahaina and Kihei. Jason loved children and was known to many as “Uncle Jason”.

He retired from the Grand Wailea Resort as a waiter at the Humu Humu restaurant. Jason was also appointed Division Representative for the ILWU Local 142 on Maui. He also served on the Maui Liquor Adjudication Commission and the Maui Planning Commission and was an active member of the Democratic Party of Hawaii.

Memorial services will be held at the Makawao Veteran’s Cemetery on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 1:00pm. Please come and join us in celebrating his life at the ILWU Hall located at 896 Lower Main Street in Wailuku on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 12 noon.

Jason is survived by his son, Jason Junior (J-Boy); brothers, Ralph Medeiros and Raymond “Mondokane” Medeiros of Kihei, Wallace (Agi) Medeiros Jr. of Las Vegas; step father, Ronald Okuda; fiancé, Devi Maria Theresia, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and his dog “Bali”. He is predeceased by his parents, Wallace Medeiros and Luciana Joan Medeiros Okuda.
