Jeffrey Paul Alexander, 70, of Pukalani, Maui, went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2025. Born and raised on Maui, Jeffrey lived a life rooted in hard work and family and devoting himself to providing for his wife and two daughters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna; daughters Lesley Puakehau (Derrick) Johnson and Jess Kanoe (Mauloaokala) Alexander-Covington; grandchildren Ale‘a, Lincoln Nainoa, and Steel Nakoa Johnson, and Kaiuanoe Covington; and siblings Carl and Collette Alexander (Mark Alexander-predeceased).
Jeffrey was a skilled heavy equipment operator and, together with Donna, owned and managed Alexander’s Equipment Service, Anuhea Hog Farm, and JD Ranch. His passion for rodeo and the cowboy lifestyle led him to train working cattle dogs, but what truly set him apart was his generosity and mentorship. Jeffrey had a gift for teaching and a heart for helping—always willing to share his time, his tools, and his knowledge with others.
He will always be remembered for his unwavering worth ethic, deep love for his family and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A self-made man, he always stressed the importance of independence and self-reliance to his daughters. The legacy he leaves behind is one of integrity, kindness and a life lived with purpose- values he instilled in his children, grandchildren and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Memorial services will be held on October 19th at Ballard Family Mortuary from 9:00-2:00 PM.
