Joanna Momi McCallum, 80, of Honolulu, died April 28, 2015 at Life Care Center in Hilo. She was born September 3, 1934 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Joanna was a retired bookkeeper, but in her younger days she danced hula professionally with the likes of Uncle George Na`ope and Aunty Genoa Keawe. She is survived by her children, Amoriann "Lei" (Kalei) Laimana of Kaneohe, Kellyn Coghlan of Hilo, Kwynn (Charles) McCallum-Bega of Kaneohe, and Kylan McCallum of Tallmadge, Ohio; brother, Kenneth (Fran) Lum of Honolulu; sisters, Allene Uesugi of Waianae, and Lana (Joseph) Lum-Medeiros of Honolulu; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Honolulu on June 4, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Mortuary Hall. Respects may be made from 9:30-10:30, with services starting at 10:30.
