Joeann "Merry" Hampel Silva, 63, of Haliimaile, passed away on June 15, 2011, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu on January 5, 1948, and was raised in Diamond Head. Merry is survived by her sons, Ben (Kim) Silva, Dean (Shelby) Silva; daughters, Terry (Anthony) Lopes, Faith Silva-McKeel, Jodie (Nick) Rossi; brother, Joseph Hampel III; hanai daughter, Ann (Lotus) Lopes; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Ballard Family Mortuary.
