Joel Vince Cruz

Joel graduated from Maui High School in 1988. He went on to study medical technology at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. After graduating with a degree in medical technology, he started his job at Clinical Pathology Laboratories as a medical technician working out of Maui Memorial Medical Center, kickstarting a 20-year career in medical technology. In 2012, he married Susan Cornejo in the Philippines. Joel’s hobbies included watching movies, listening to music, and spending time with his wife, Susan, friends, and family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 8 am to 11 am, with mass to start at 10 am.

Joel was predeceased by his brother, Jeffrey Viince-Cruz. He is survived by his wife, Susan Vince-Cruz; parents, Jose & Rosalina Vince-Cruz; brother, Jonathan Vince-Cruz; niece, Jillian Rose K. Vince-Cruz; sister-in-law, Marife Vince-Cruz; uncles, Manuel Vince-Cruz, James Batin & George Batin, and numerous cousins.
