John Han, 89 of Kula, passed away on January 24, 2016 at his residence. He was born on January 9, 1927 in Puunene, Maui. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Holy Ghost Church in Kula, mass will begin at 10 a.m., burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao.
John was a retired Business Manager Financial Secretary for IBEW Local Union #1357.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Keala Han; sons, John M. Han, Maxwell “Slugo” Han, William “Billy” C. Han, and Jonathan Joseph Han; daughters, Elizabeth Koalani Han, and Kimi (Shayne) Tamanaha; 6 grandchildren, Kainani and Kamalu Han, and Tyana, Keahi, Shayna, and Kalai’ipono Tamanaha; 2 great-grandchildren, Skyler Han, and Kahuliauakea Apuakehau.
