John Anthony “Tony” Walls, 61, of Hilo, passed away Friday, January 31, 2013 at the Hilo Medical Center Extended Care Unit. He was born in Alaska and retired as a Floral Designer for Barb’s Florist. Memorial Services will be held at the United Community Church on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 10:00am. Celebration of life to follow at Coconut Willy s/Baker Tom s at Uncle Billys Hotel located at 87 Banyan Drive from 11:00am till 1:00pm. He is survived by his parents John W. Walls and Barbara Jean Rand Walls of Hilo; son John Kyle Walls of Alaska; daughter Megan Lee Walls of Hilo; brothers George (Jenna) Walls of Hakalau, Rand T. Walls of Hilo; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements by Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home, Hilo.
