Johnnathan Kalima Uwekoolani Jr., 36, of Wailuku, passed away on July 1, 2026, surrounded by his family and under the care of Hospice Maui. He was born on January 24, 1990.
Visitation and a celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Ballard Family Mortuary. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
Johnnathan worked in the warehouse at Frito-Lay. He enjoyed playing disc golf, working on his truck, garage partying, and gaming.
He is survived by his parents, Diane and Johnnathan Uwekoolani; grandfather, John Uwekoolani Jr.; siblings, Ikaika Uwekoolani (Moani) and Kelena Uwekoolani (Kortney); hānai sister, Leyna Uwekoolani; nieces and nephews, Elikapeka, Lopaka, Lawaiʻa, Kingston, Lawakua, Lauleʻa, and Kymani; and many cousins, aunties, and uncles.
