Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary, memorial services will begin at 6 p.m. Family has requested no flowers and casual attire.
Joseph was a retired Fire Captain at Paia Fire Station and a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Fernandez; son, John Joseph (Cassie) Fernandez; daughter, Stacie Fernandez; mother, Rita Fernandez; brother, Thomas Fernandez; grandson, Cayleb Fernandez, and granddaughter, Caylee Fernandez.
Joseph was predeceased by his father, John “Wheaty” Fernandez.
His family would like to thank Hospice Maui, Hale Makua Kahului, Kaiser Permanente, the Maui County Fire Department, and Ballard Family Mortuary.
