Joseph Dias Souza III, 68, of Hilo, passed away at Hilo Medical Center on September 3, 2022. Born June 20, 1954, in San Bernardino, CA, he was a masonry worker in construction prior to retirement and was a member of the Hawaii Laborers Union.
He is survived by sons, Joseph Kinilau Dias (Bethany) Souza IV of Kaneohe, Jonah Dias (Rosalyn) Souza of Las Vegas; daughters, Tiani (Louis) Marsh of Hilo, Mahealani Henriques of Kaneohe; brother, John Dias Souza of Kaneohe; sister Rose Stephanie (Edward) Clarke of Waialua; in addition to 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
No viewing or service at this time. Joseph donated his body for research to the Willed Body Program, John Burns School of Medicine at UH Manoa.
