Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Norman’s Mortuary, services will begin at 11am, with cremation will follow.
Juanita was a retired aquatics specialist for the Department of Parks and Recreation. She was also a race director for the MCHCA. Her legacy lives on through her family and through Maui’s Wa’a culture forever.
She was loved by everyone and will truly be missed.
She is survived by her sons, Pino Souza, Keoki K. Ventura; daughters, late Gigi Schmitt, Momilani Ventura, Ronalee Ventura, Mahealani L. Ventura; brothers, Lloyd Lavelle Schmitt; grandchildren, Mahina Ventura, Ihilani Catugal, Keonaona Ventura,pele Souza, Isaiah Ace, Ku’uleimomi Ventura, Kabuikai Ventura; great grandchildren, Naheana Sinson and Naka’iku Singson.
