Julie was an island girl through and through. She carried the warmth, strength, and spirit of aloha with her everywhere she went, and she had a special way of making people feel comfortable and appreciated simply by being herself.
Loud in all the best ways, Julie was always easy to spot calling out to her kids, cheering at their games, chanting at hula performances, or pulling folks onto the dance floor. Whether she was singing karaoke at the top of her lungs or laughing with a quick, booming chuckle, Julie brought life and connection to every moment.
Julie’s hands were never still. She had a natural creative spark that came out in everything she made from wood cutouts and face painting to decorations and projects she dreamed up just for fun. She didn’t just make things; she shared pieces of herself with the people around her.
If there was music playing, you could count on Julie to be moving dancing freely, laughing loudly, and lighting up whatever room she was in. She had a knack for breaking the ice, cracking jokes with anyone nearby, and getting the shyest person to loosen up a little.
Above all, Julie was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Her children were at the center of her world, and her love for her family was fierce, proud, and unwavering. She showed up fully cheering, supporting, celebrating, and protecting the people she cared about.
Julie is survived by her loving mother, Marsha Pascua; her sisters, Joy (Brandon) Paredes, Jill (Tony) Wickes, and Sheila (Henry) Gomes; her brothers, Adolph “Randy” (Mary) Pascua, Jr., and Alan (Kristen) Pascua; and her beloved children, Elaina Ramones, Tehani, Tanea, Tehiva, Temana Agcaoili, and Taniela Talamai. She is also remembered with love by her nieces and nephews, Faith and Justin Paredes; Mikayla Pontanilla, Bishop, Malie, Kamaile, Justice, Knight, and Waiolalani Wickes.
She is reunited in heaven with her father, Adolph “Randy” Pascua Sr. where we can picture them laughing, teasing each other, and fixing something that didn’t even need fixing.
Julie’s voice, creativity, laughter, and generous heart live on in the many people who knew her. She leaves behind memories that will keep her close in the stories we tell, the music we play, and the moments we choose to live fully just like she did.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church in Kihei, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. All who loved her and all who were touched by her kindness are welcome to join in remembering her life.
