A celebration of her life will be held at Kapalua.
Kaye was a retired Real Estate Broker from San Rafael, California.
She is survived by her husband, Dick Hammond; son, Shepard (Liza Ryan) Kopp of Los Angeles and their children, Charlie and Lily; daughter, Jennifer (John) Putnam of Napa, California and their son, Emmett; son, Brad Kopp of San Francisco, and step-children, Katie Hammond of Dubai, and Rick (Tish Basford)) Hammond of Minneapolis and their two daughters, Azaya and Zada; and sister, Pam Dennis of Plainwell, Michigan.
Donations may be made to the Hawaii Land Trust or to Hospice Maui.
Kaye was a master at putting people at ease with grace, beauty and a witty sense of humor. Deservingly so, she has left many friends who will miss her deeply.
