Kimie “Kay” Hiranaga, 85, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on September 1, 2012, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on February 22, 1927, in Puunene, Maui.

Kimie “Kay” is survived by her son, Russell Hiranaga; daughter, June (Elbert) Yoshida; brothers, Takashi Watanabe, Pete Watanabe; sisters, Tomie (Stanley) Shiroma, Yaeko (Harold) Wakamoto, Toshiko (Francis) Watanabe, Sueko Watanabe; and 3 grandchildren, Angela, Nicole, and Bradley.
