Matsuko "Mutt" Sugimoto, 87 of Kahului, passed away on August 7, 2011 at her home under Hospice care. She was born on April 8, 1924, in Hamakuapoko, Maui. Mutt retired at Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company as a Laboratory Analyst. She is survived by her husband, Tamotsu Sugimoto; son, Michael (Lois) Ito; daughters, Cathy (Mark) Villaverde, Sonya (David) Tavares; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Visitation over urn will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 at Kahului Union Church.
Services: service 10:30 a.m.
Interment: burial 1:00 p.m. at the Maui Veteran's Cemetery in Makawao.
