Matthew Darrel Manuia Mitchell, Sr. "Honey Boy", 74, of Kahului, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center. Mr. Mitchell, Sr., was born on December 14, 1936 in Puunene. He was a retired cargo agent for Hawaiian Airlines in Kahului. He is survived by his wife, Clarita Mitchell; a son, Matthew (Staci) Mitchell, Jr.; four daughters, Amanda Mitchell, Jody (Alfredo Villas-Boas) Mitchell, Marie (Colin) Duarte, and Jamie (Roman) Czerwinski; a brother, Gordon (Sue) Mitchell; a sister, Rowena (Francis) Hong; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation: Family and friends are invited to gather for funeral services on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- Kahului Ward. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m.
Services: Service at 5 p.m.
Interment: Family requests casual attire.
