Ofa Kivava’u Pauta 74 of Hilo, passed away at Hilo Medical Center on June 29, 2020. Born on June 26, 1946 in Tonga, he was the eldest of 14 children. He was a self employed landscaper from 1976 retiring in 2003 and also retired as a Reverend from the Free Church of Tonga on June 27, 2010.

He is survived by his wife Paea Pauta of Hilo; son Ofa Kivava’u Jr. of Hilo; daughters, Mele Pauta of California, Ane Pauta of Hilo, Akolea Pauta of Alaska, Gaftynn Pauta of Alaska; 4 grandchildren; 13 siblings, nieces and nephews.
