Paul Tashima

Paul Haruo Tashima, 90, of Hilo, passed away Friday April 10, 2015 at home. He was born in Paauhau, he was the retired proprietor of Paul Tashima General Contractor Inc. Private services held. He was the widower of Tomoe Tashima. He is survived by his sons Burt Tashima of Hilo, Dan (Robin) Tashima of Henderson, NV; daughters Candace (Randall Kaya) Paul of Hilo, Susan Nobuko Sera (Neil) Kingsley of North Hero, VT; brother Sakumi Tashima of Ewa; sisters Nobue Oba of Hilo, Michiko (Herbert) Ota of Hilo, Lynn Tsuji of Kailua, Ellen (Henry Lopez) Callo of Naalehu; Brother-in-Law Shoichi Fukaura of Paauilo; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
