Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Christ the King Church in Kahului, with visitation from 6 pm to 9 pm, and Mass at 7:30 pm. Visitation continues on Friday, November 30 at the church, with visitation from 9 am, burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park, main section at 10:30 am. Borthwick Norman’s Mortuary assisted with arrangements.

He retired from Wailea Ekahi in the ground maintenance department.

He was predeceased by his wife, Brigida P. Ramirez. He is survived by his son, Celestino (Andrea) Ramirez; daughters, Aniceta (Geronimo) Pilotin, Lilia C. (Antonio) Valdez, Victoria (George) Paranada and Estrelita (Mel-deceased) Pigao; brother, Francisco Ramirez; grandchildren, Maricar (Tyler) Pilotin-Freitas, Eric (Joleen) Pilotin, John (Kathy) Pilotin, James Valdez, Jason (Mandy) Ramirez, Michelle (Tim Tharavong) Ramirez, Lynelle Paranada, Criselda Paranada, Phillip Paranada, Melvin (Janilee) Pigao, Ervin Pigao and Mark Pigao; great-grandchildren, Winston Freitas, Emma Pilotin, Erica Pilotin, Cienna Pilotin, Naoh Pilotin, Kailee Ramirez, Kaycee Ramirez, Jayanna Celeste Ramirez Tharavong and Jarred Paranada.
