Renato Dasalla Espiritu Sr., 71, of Lanai City, passed away on February 16, 2026 at Lanai Community Hospital. He was born on June 15, 1954 in the Philippines.
An overnight vigil will be held from 6:30pm on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the ILWU Hall on Lanai. Mass will begin at 10am on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary Catholic Church, Lanai. Burial will be held in the Philippines.
Renato worked as a hotel Steward. He is survived by his wife, Angela Cruz Espiritu; children, Irene Espiritu, Gilbert Espiritu (J-Lyn), Arlyn Espiritu (Dennis), Mydard Espiritu (Catherine), Renato Espiritu Jr. (Ayleen), Renan Espiritu (Marielesse), Mark Louie Espiritu (Kimberly); his parents, Silverio Espiritu+ and Filomena Espiritu; siblings, Romeo Espiritu (Maria Purita), Norma Cabonce (Alex), Estelita Villamor, Elma Giron, Violeta Ballesteros (Francis Jay), and Elsie Morita (Macky). Grandchildren; Jlhord, Jb, Glycine, Kai Luryn, Zian James, Audrey, Amber, Lincoln, Jethro, Luke, and Reid.
