Rita “Dee Dee” Katherine Molina, 74, of Pukalani, Maui, passed away on July 17, 2015, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on July 8, 1941, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dee Dee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Rita was a retired Secretary at the Federal Aviation Administration. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, and gardening where she put many years of care into her orchids.
Services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Norman’s Mortuary in Wailuku. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m., Service will begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow at 1:00 p.m., at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao.
She is survived by her husband, Carlos “Mo” Molina Jr.; her daughter Jennifer Molina; brother, Robert Hein, John (Karen) Hein; grandchildren, Christopher Ishizaka, Joshua Thrower, and Cameron Thrower; nieces and nephews.
