Robert A. Hoffman, 85, of Hawaiian Paradise Park, Hawaii died Oct 25th at Pohai Malama. Born in Terra Haute, Indiana. He served in the National Guard, U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps Reserve veteran, retired VP Boise Cascade real estate division, former co-owner and general manager Hilo Naniloa Resort, former commercial pilot and flight instructor, Past Master Kilauea Masonic Lodge, 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason and Shriner. Survived by wife of 64 years Shirley Hoffman, son Edward, daughter Roberta (Donovan) Cho, pre-deceased by daughter Lynn, seven grandsons and ten great-grandchildren. Services to be held November 13 at the Hilo Masonic Temple (335 Wailuku Dr. Hilo, HI 96720) Visitation from 11 to 1, Service at 1. Refreshment to follow.
